OCBC Cycle Kuala Lumpur is the capital’s flagship closed-road mass-participation cycling event, organised by Multigreen Events Sdn Bhd and title-sponsored by OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad. The 2026 edition starts and finishes at Jalan Raja, between the historic Dataran Merdeka (Merdeka Square) and the recently reopened Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad — an inspiring heritage backdrop for riders.
The event offers four categories. The 25km City Ride is a scenic individual loop showcasing KL’s most iconic landmarks. The 50km City Ride takes riders through two loops for a longer, more thrilling experience. The KL Mayor’s Ride puts teams of 10 riders on the 50km course together. And the Kids’ Push Bike event gives children aged 3–9 their own OCBC Cycle experience right at Dataran Merdeka, with age categories for mixed gender ages 3–6 and Boys Open / Girls Open for ages 6–9.
Riders on the 25km and 50km routes pedal past the Petronas Twin Towers, Taman Tugu, the National Mosque (Masjid Negara), and more, all on fully closed roads. The 25km route is a single lap; the 50km route covers two laps of the same course. Flag off is at 6:45am, with cut-off gantry points at 8:45am and the event ending at 10:30am. Estimated finish times range from 31 minutes (at 38km/h) to 1h30m (at 15km/h) for the 25km loop, and 1h08m to 2h56m for the full 50km. The route elevation is gentle with no major climbs.

Only road bikes, mountain bikes, and folding bikes are allowed — all must have two working brakes. Fixed-gear bikes, aero bars, disc wheels, e-bikes, and specialist TT bikes are prohibited. Minimum age for bike ride categories is 16 years old.
Registration closes at 11:59pm on 28 May 2026 or once 3,000 participants have registered, whichever comes first. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. All finishers receive an exclusive finisher’s medal, and participants get the official 2026 ride jersey or event T-shirt. The Kids’ Push Bike category awards plaques and sponsors’ gifts for 1st to 6th place in each age group. Basic personal accident insurance is included for all participants, with optional additional coverage available.
