Selangor K.O.M 2026

Selangor K.O.M 2026 is a premier hill climb cycling event taking place on 13 September 2026 (Sunday), starting from Dataran Warisan, Kuala Kubu Bharu and finishing at the iconic Fraser’s Hill Gantry. Covering a total distance of 40km with 1,200m of elevation gain, this event features a dedicated K.O.M (King of the Mountain) Stage of 7km from Gap Junction to the Fraser’s Hill finish — the ultimate test of climbing legs for Malaysian cyclists.

The event welcomes riders across multiple categories: Road Bike (Men’s Elite, Men’s Open, Men’s Junior Master, Men’s Master, Men’s Senior Master, Women’s Open, Women’s Junior Master, Women’s Master, Women’s Senior Master), Mountain Bike (Men’s Open, Men’s Junior Master, Men’s Master, Women’s Open), and Folding Bike (Men’s Open, Women’s Open). Age groups range from 18 to 55 and above, ensuring competitive racing for cyclists of all levels. Note: MTB participants must use XC/Trail tires with a minimum width of 1.9 inches, while any tyre size and rim are permitted for folding bikes.

The route takes riders from KKB through scenic checkpoints including the Dam Viewpoint (8.5km), Semangkuk Waterfalls (24km), and Gap Junction (32km) — where the thrilling K.O.M stage begins — all the way to the finish at Fraser’s Hill. Three water stations are positioned along the route to keep riders fuelled for the climb.

All participants receive a comprehensive entitlements package including a bike plate, helmet sticker, timing chip, e-certificate, event shirt, finisher medal, PA & PL group insurance, water stations, and post-race refreshments. Top 5 finishers in each category receive trophies, while the top 3 in Road Bike Elite, Road Bike Age Group, and Mountain Bike categories are eligible for cash prizes.
